sir,
i m pooja.... i wan 2 know the difference between design equations of level 3 and level 49...... since during design it is must that a designer should knew it.

This is Eswar, newly joined in the group.
You are correct, A designer should know abt the Levels that appear in the MOSFET Models.
Simply to answer ur question
1. The Number of device parameters in Level3 and Level49 are different
2.The more the level number, the bigger the equations, the more the number of effects like short channel effects considered..
3. If u just consider the Id drain equation, there we have Lambda which interns consists of the channel length and mobility modulations...and these modulation effects also depends on many parameters....So the Level 49 includes all these effects and gave accurate models.....
But after that also these levels are keep on increasing....
Now we are at around Level62
