| Nanotechnology | Technology involved with design and fabrication of devices and thin films with dimensions in the nanometer range (1E-9 m). |
| Netlist | A version of an electronic circuit on a CAD system consisting of all of the circuit element names/reference designators, listed with their input and output signal names, in a format similar to . Netlists are the primary form of a circuit used for CAD simulation. |
| nMOS | An n-channel metal-oxide semiconductor transistor is one in which n-type dopants are used in the gate region. A positive voltage on the gate turns the device on. |
| Non-volatile memory | Information stored is maintained after the power supply is turned off. |
| Nyquist Principle | Nyquist principle states that the sampling rate must be at least twice the maximum bandwidth of the analog signal in order to allow the signal to be completely represented. The maximum bandwidth of the signal is called the Nyquist frequency. |
