The
goal of this site is to provide VLSI information for students and
Engineers. The term VLSI comprises very vast area of knowledge and
technologies. One person does not know everything about VLSI. It is not possible for one person to provide all information about VLSI.
This
is the reason VLSI-WORLD.com! looking for volunteers with various filed
of interest and various levels of skills to contribute to this VLSI
knowledge base. There are 100 ways to contributes, some of those
mentioned here
1. Improve Listing VLSI-World.com! has 3 different listings at this moment. They are a) VLSI Glossary – Which contains the VLSI related acronym and it’s full form. b) VLSI Definition – Which contains the VLSI related terms and it’s definitions. c) VLSI companies – A list of VLSI / Semiconductor / EDA companies around the world.
This above list can be improved by adding
new items. If you know some VLSI company or term or definition and it
is not available in the list please add it. You don’t need to register
for this.
2. VHDL models
There are few VHDL example
are available now. You can send new examples. Example must contain a
description, simulation waveform (the complete wave from window in bmp
format - we will resize the waveform) and possibly synthesized
schematic.
3. Verilog model
At the moment there are no Verilog examples available now. You can send us your own examples. Please follow above guidelines.
4. EDA topics
There few eda topics
already in the site. Under this topic there are thousands of
possibilities to write. It is sure the existing topics can give you an
idea about the possibilities. Under this title currently we are working
on
a) Complete ASIC design flowb) CRC in digital electronics c) Safe and glitch free clock switch and more 5. Tools
You can send guide or tutorial for any tool in EDA industry. See the existing titles.
6. Devices
News, Information and your experience with FPGA
/ CPLD / ASIC / microcontroller. It can be design, layout, synthesis
any other info in the design flow. If you have something to add under this topic contact
us.
7. Analog Design
Any
tips, circuits, ideas regarding Analog design. If possible please send
us with diagrams. Learning with diagrams is always very more efficient.

8. Generate activities in the VLSI-forum. Please register with us. 9. Refer this site to the people you know.
Also you can improve the existing contents by adding / modifying information. Other than this you are always welcome to send your criticism / ideas / typos / grammar mistakes.
For your contribution you will have you own page to display your profile in the site with list of your contribution. See the existing profiles. Sounds interesting??? Contact us Best Regards, -Administrator (www.vlsi-world.com!) |
